Paediatric rheumatology was first established as a new discipline in pediatrics five decades ago. Since then, this subspecialty has expanded especially in the West but the awareness of these diseases is still poor in South East Asia. Training programs and access to subspecialty care is limited in most countries and absent in some. This is the first basic paediatric rheumatology educational course in South East Asia and spans over two exciting days. It is organised with the support of Paediatric Rheumatology European Association (PReS) and is dedicated towards increasing the awareness and to educate doctors in SEA with regards to paediatric rheumatic diseases.
